Become a Brain Injury Fundamentals Instructor

Help others learn about brain injury fundamentals by becoming an instructor.

Becoming a Brain Injury Fundamentals Instructor:

Eligibility:

  • Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIS/T)
  • Or, Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) with certification for 3+ years

Maintenance: Renew CBIS/CBIST certification to maintain instructor status.

Renewal of CBIS/CBIST is concurrent with Fundamentals Instructor Status. No additional requirements apply.

Application Process:

Apply for free online at BIAA’s Learning Platform. Please allow 5-7 business days for application processing. Upon application approval, complete the “Fundamentals Train the Trainer” webinar (approximately 30 minutes) and mandatory survey. All application questions can be directed to applications@biausa.org 

Instructor Training Materials:

Approved instructors will have access to the Trainer and Instructor Resources Folder in My Courses on BIAA’s Learning Platform. This contains the Fundamentals Instructor Guide and PowerPoint slides for the Program Modules.
