Application Process

Application fees for the CBIS/T-AP certification are as follows:

• $375 for CBIS/Ts in good standing
• $700 for new applicants

The application fee covers the CBIS/T-AP application, the CBIS/T-AP exams, and a one-year subscription to the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.

 *ACBIS Application fees are non-refundable unless the applicant does not meet eligibility requirements, in which case a $70 cancellation fee will be applied. Application fees are retained for up to one year following payment submission.

Application Instructions

1. Log in to the Brain Injury Association of America’s learning platform and proceed to the Catalog to purchase the Advanced Practice application. Note: If the application fee was paid by someone other than the applicant, please select the “Enrollment Key” option on the homepage and enter the key provided on the receipt.
2. After purchasing, complete all CBIS application steps, including the CBIS application survey, automated proctoring technology precheck, and application submission confirmation.
3. Once the application is approved, an email with a unique link to access the CBIS/T-AP Objective Examination will be sent.
