Step 3: After purchasing, proceed to the CBIS Renewal page, or open the CBIS Renewal through My Courses. Complete and submit the following:

  1. CBIS Renewal Application
  2. CBIS Renewal Submission Confirmation

Application Instructions: Enter the number of contact hours earned in each activity category during your one-year renewal period. If a category doesn’t apply, enter N/A. All fields require a response. Submit each answer, then submit the full renewal application at the end.

*The grace period ONLY applies to the submission of the renewal application and payment. It does not apply to the continuing education events.

Step four: Once both the renewal submission confirmation and payment are received, the re-certification submission will be reviewed. Processing may take 3-5 business days. If approved, an updated CBIS certificate will be issued and available in your account’s transcripts.
