Announcing an all-new ACBIS training and certificate program for direct care staff and individual caregivers.
Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIST)
Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainers (CBISTs) are approved to provide official ACBIS training to CBIS candidates. CBISTs demonstrate advanced skills in the field of brain injury and maintain their skills through continuing education.
Provisional Certified Brain Injury Specialist (PCBIS)
An opportunity for students enrolled in an accredited University program to join the expanding group of professionals seeking to offer optimal care for individuals with a brain injury.
ACBIS Alliance
The ACBIS Alliance provides public recognition to a brain injury services provider or designated facility that has achieved the benchmark of having 20% of its staff who are eligible for national certification certified as CBIS or CBIST.
ACBIS Provider Toolkit
The Brain Injury Association of America welcomes providers to use a collection of exclusive collateral to market their involvement in ACBIS to employees, patients, and their families.
Group Administrators
Responsible for arranging training programs, recruiting attendees, tracking and coordinating application process and fee payment, coordinating proctors for examinations, and acting as the conduit between group members and staff.
