Are you ready for a fun challenge?

This September we are encouraging everyone to challenge themselves with our 50 Miles Your Way Facebook challenge. We are asking fundraisers to commit to 50 miles throughout the month – whether that be running, walking, biking, swimming, or anything else!

This virtual fundraiser is an opportunity to get motivated to stay active, honor the brain injury community, and support BIAA programs. In addition, your participation in this challenge will help BIAA advance awareness, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury.

It is easy to sign up.

  1. Join the Facebook group
  2. Create your fundraiser
  3. Share with your family and friends
  4. Track your miles and post your progress on your personal page and in the group
  5. Take pride in yourself for spreading awareness and raising funds for the brain injury community

Download our Quick Start Guide, which includes instructions on setting up your campaign, tips on how to meet your goal, and addresses other frequently asked questions.

If you prefer to host your fundraiser outside of Facebook, you can do so here.

“During BIAA’s 40th anniversary campaign, I obtained small and large contributions from my personal and professional networks helped by BIAA’s online fundraising tool. Stephanie Cohen from the development team assisted in creating a personal appeal to the individuals I identified, including sharing a link to my fundraising page, and tracked their responses. The whole process was simple and stress-free. I received an email every time someone donated, making it easy for me to respond with a thank-you note.

I am not what you would consider a “techie,” but the set up, combined with the support I received, required very little know-how. The people who donated to my campaign were thanked quickly and stewarded professionally by the BIAA staff. To assist BIAA in its mission, I highly recommend you fundraise using the BIAA online tool.”
