The Brain Injury Association of America’s 2026 National Conference and Awareness Day will bring together the brain injury community to inspire action, drive advocacy, celebrate achievements, and strengthen our collective impact through dynamic sessions, networking, and opportunities to advocate on Capitol Hill. Whether you are a person living with a brain injury, a caregiver, or a healthcare provider, this conference will offer tools, resources, and networking opportunities for leaders (and emerging leaders) in the brain injury community to inspire action.

Conference Date and Location

The National Brain Injury Conference and Awareness Day will take place from March 9 to 11, 2026, at the Hilton Arlington National Landing in Washington, D.C.

Conference Agenda

The sessions at this year’s National Brain Injury Conference and Awareness Day will provide attendees with the skills necessary to communicate effectively about brain injuries and utilize their personal experiences for positive change. Participants will learn the importance of sharing their stories, how to use their experiences to make an impact, and effective communication strategies from brain injury experts. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into practice by advocating directly with their members of Congress. Who Should Attend the Conference?

This year’s National Brain Injury Conference and Awareness Day is geared toward current and potential advocates within the brain injury community who have connections to brain injury and are motivated to expand advocacy, services, and support across the field. Those who are ready to move from personal experience to leadership within various initiatives are encouraged to attend.

Where to Stay

BIAA has secured a block of rooms at the conference venue, the Hilton Arlington National Landing, at a discounted rate of $259 per night. In order to access the discounted rate, you must register to attend the conference first. When you register, you will be sent the link to the room block.

Scholarships
