2023 Legislative Issue Briefs
Advocacy is central to BIAA’s mission. The brain injury community has so much power when it comes to advocating for the causes that affect them. BIAA’s Legislative Issue Briefs provide insight into what our advocacy priorities are and why they are important.
Our 2023 legislative priorities include:
- Coordinate federal programs
- Increase TBI Act funding
- Fund the CDC TBI program
- Build knowledge on COVID-19-related brain injuries
- Fully fund TBI model systems of care
