August 1, 2024
The Traumatic Brain Injury Program Reauthorization Act was passed on a strong bipartisan vote out of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee in the U.S. Senate. Thanks to our co-sponsors Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) for leading the effort.
The TBI Act is essential in providing services to brain injury survivors across the country. Upon passage, Senator Markwayne Mullin gave a speech to Congress explaining his personal relationship to brain injury and on the importance of reauthorizing the TBI Act.
