BIAA Publishes 2023 Impact Report

The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) has published its 2023 Impact Report, Creating Opportunities to Make a Difference. This report documents not only the activities, offerings, and accomplishments that BIAA celebrated in 2023, but the tangible benefits they had on the brain injury community.
“Our 2023 Impact Report highlights the influence that BIAA has both within the brain injury community and the greater public, thanks to programs like the National Brain Injury Information Center, Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists, the Brain Injury Research Fund, and the Concussion Awareness Now coalition, not to mention the tireless efforts of all those who lobby on Capitol Hill in support of legislative efforts that would improve the lives of people living with brain injury.” said Rick Willis, President and CEO of BIAA. “For over 40 years, BIAA has been the voice of brain injury. Through our programs, education, resources, research initiatives, advocacy efforts, and awareness campaigns, we strive to change lives and drive positive outcomes for people living with brain injury and those who care for, treat, and support them.”
The 2023 Impact Report also features testimonials from individuals who participated in or utilized BIAA’s programs, services, resources, and events. As well, the Impact Report highlights the behind-the-scenes work that paved the way for initiatives and endeavors that have come to fruition in 2024, including the Luminary of the Year campaign and the strategic three-year plan, which was unveiled at the end of 2023.
