BIAA Welcomes Delaware as a Chapter

May 1, 2025

Delaware has been an affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America for many years and is now taking the next step by becoming a chapter within the organization. This transition from affiliate to chapter will allow the Brain Injury Association of America – Delaware Chapter (BIA-DE) to better support brain injury survivors, caregivers, and professionals in the state by expanding existing services and programs. As a chapter, BIA-DE will build on the dedication and hard work of the affiliate’s staff, board members, and volunteers, whose efforts have laid a solid foundation for brain injury support and advocacy in the state.

Daniel Davis is BIA-DE’s new Executive Director and is hitting the ground running by forming four community councils focused on guiding and supporting BIA-DE’s work in Delaware. We look forward to working together to improve the quality of life of people affected by brain injury across their lifespan by advancing prevention, awareness, research, treatment, education, and advocacy.

If you are interested in getting involved, sign up for BIA-DE’s mailing list to get the latest news and volunteer opportunities in your inbox.
