Lost….

January 30, 2018

I am a 38 year old …. No I was a 37 year old independent strong willed father of two amazing little boys. I guess that’s a good way to start but any ways. I went to work one Monday and from what I’ve been told because guess what I don’t remember but I was scraping a ceiling getting it ready for paint and they say I just stepped backwards and fell if the scaffolding I was working on and landed on the left side if my head. I was dead on the ground. I never saw a light I never saw god. Just a bunch of nothing. Someone at the job site that was ex military managed to bring me back I was told. I still to this day almost a year later have no idea who this was but thank you. I be never flown before but I got a helicopter ride that day to ETMC in Tyler TX where they did some brain surgery on me and put a pump in to pump all the blood out. I was in ICU for one day and then in my own room for two days. I also broke my left scapula. Which still hurts every day. No surgery for that they just told me to keep it in a sling. On the third day I was released to a wonderful woman that I had only been seeing for a week before I got hurt. She took me home and everyone, well really just my family came to see me and a few friends and my boss. My boss reassured me how he would handle all my bills and finances and my family told me how they would help me take care of my house mow
