Morgan’s Story
BIAA was there for Morgan when she needed help the most.
Each year, BIAA’s National Brain Injury Information Center answers calls from all 50 states so that everyone who sustains a brain injury is diagnosed, treated, and accepted. Morgan credits the Association with introducing her to a community that prizes help, hope, and healing.

Help us extend BIAA’s reach
When it comes to recovery after brain injury, getting the right information at the right time is critical. The speed at which patients and their families can make well-informed medical decisions is directly related to the quality of their recovery. BIAA must expand services to reach more people, in more places, and in more ways.
Your support is critical to BIAA’s mission. As we work to achieve a brighter future for people living with brain injury, every accomplishment is made possible thanks to generous, tax-deductible contributions from friends like you.

The help brain injury survivors need, when they need it
Each day, survivors of brain injury and their loved ones call the National Brain Injury Information Center to get connected to resources and information by speaking with a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS).
BIAA staff like Greg Ayotte, CBIST, provide assistance and support to navigating the complexities of living with a brain injury.
Earlier this year, Greg received a call from the mother of a young man who had been experiencing anxiety and anger following a brain injury and had been arrested during a domestic dispute. He wasn’t allowed to return home while the charges were pending, and his mother wasn’t sure exactly what to do.
That’s when she got in touch with BIAA.
Watch this short video below to see how Greg and BIAA were able to help this family.
