Christopher Brisbee
Chris Brisbee is President of the Property Casualty division of USI in the Northwest. From new venture formation through IPO and all stages of commercial development, he advises clients on risk management issues, effective risk reduction strategies, claims resolution, and a variety of other risk mitigation tactics. With over 20 years in insurance brokerage, Chris has earned his reputation for value delivery to clients through navigation and negotiation of complex insurance markets. In addition to serving clients and managing a team of over 200 property & casualty insurance professionals, Chris also serves USI nationally as a senior consultant to multinational publicly traded and private company clients. Chris joined USI in 2008 and was asked to lead the firm’s Northwest Property Casualty operation as President in 2010. He has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s direction and growth within the Northwest marketplace via oversight of business development activities, marketing, and implementation of company vision. Prior to joining USI, Chris was a Partner at Woodruff–Sawyer in Portland, Oregon, leading its Northwest Technology Practice as well as its private equity and merger & acquisition initiatives. He also has broad experience with the European and Bermuda marketplaces and working as an underwriter for Fireman’s Fund. Chris is a graduate of the University of Oregon.
