Brain Injury Association of America Announces New Edition of the Essential Brain Injury Guide

The Brain Injury Association of America is releasing a new edition of its Essential Brain Injury Guide (EBIG). The EBIG 6.0 contains updated information about brain injury, the neurological disease process, and brain injury treatment and rehabilitation.

The Essential Brain Injury Guide is published by the Brain Injury Association of America’s Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists to increase understanding of brain injury and to improve access to high quality care. While the Guide serves as a reference tool for multi-disciplinary topics in brain injury rehabilitation, many people use it in preparation for the examination that is part of the process to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.

The new edition of the EBIG has been updated to benefit prospective Certified Brain Injury Specialists with a reorganized structure, making for a better flow of information as well as a more user-friendly study tool for those preparing to take the ACBIS exam.
