Todd E. Johnson
July 2009 -ATV Accident required life flight to Duluth Hospital. Depressed frontal skull fracture involving the frontal sinus and orbital bones. 5 titanium plates and 16 metal screws to repair skull damage. Despite the traumatic damage, No MRI was done on Todd’s Brain. 9 years of symptoms and chronic deficits never resulted in a brain exam. Finally, after 10 years, Todd got his own MRI showing contusions to the frontal lobe. Todd’s story begins with the accident, the surgery, recovery and subsequent lack of diagnosis and treatment. A severe loss in cognitive ability, losing career, possessions and challenging mental health, while finding courage, support and clinging to hope in an upbeat presentation filled with detail and light hearted (sometimes humorous) discussion.
Todd has done hundreds of presentations and been awarded numerous times for his appearances. Todd speaks regularly to Schools, Law Enforcement, First Responders, Volunteer Aid Associations, Social Work Teams and many other groups and individuals including business and community leader associations and keynote corporate retreats.
