Before 2002 i was a mom and wife, i did everything. Then i was hit by a drunk driver. He flipped my suv twice i think i was told. I was in a coma for a week. I finally got out of the hospital unable to talk and no movement from my left arm and leg and a tracheotomy. I didn’t understand anything that had happened or what was going on at the time. I was told i had a tbi and im disabled. Fast forward to now, 2018, i still have struggles but i thought i was happy. Then on November 7 a big suv didn’t stop at his stop signs and hit my side of my car. I was knocked out because the thing i remember was hearing someone knock on my car if i was ok. Disoriented and feeling scared it was happening all over again. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I was told it was a closed head injury. I guess that’s my story. People say im just bad luck but they don’t seem to understand what i go through everyday. I sometimes go through the brain check questions list.
