Monica Vaccaro
Vaccaro has been responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Association and providing programmatic leadership and direction, including supervision of program coordinators, staff, and volunteers since 2008. She represents the Association on the Pennsylvania Brain Injury Coalition, the Office of Long-Term Living Managed Long Term Services and Supports Committee, and the Brain Injury Committee of the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association of Pennsylvania. Prior to her role as the Director of Programs, she served as the Support Group Coordinator for the Association. Ms. Vaccaro has 32 years of experience working with individuals with brain injury and their families as a clinician in medical rehabilitation, research, and advocacy. In addition to her role with the Association, she is a Research Associate at Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute, co-chairing the Advisory Council, serving as a co-investigator for local research projects, and representing the TBI Model System on the PA Department of Health Brain Injury Advisory Board.
