In this Carolyn Rocchio Caregivers webinar, Sharon Grandinette, M.S., Ed., CBIST, addresses the issues and needs of teenagers with ABI as they transition from the protective world of education to opportunities offered in the community for young adults. Topics include educational, social, and emotional challenges; specific components of community integration available after exit from high school; and strategies and interventions to support post-high school educational and vocational opportunities.

Sharon Grandinette, M.S., Ed., CBIST, is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist/Trainer and a nationally/internationally recognized consultant who focuses her work on school reintegration and post-school options for children and adolescents with acquired brain injury. She provides consultation to schools, advocacy for families via trust and private funds, and expert witness services in pediatric ABI legal cases.
