The Power of the DIVINE

In 2006, waking up two weeks post-partum to tend to my newborn, I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. I was 30 years old. I am blessed to have encountered neurosurgeons that saved my life w/brain surgery, ultimately resulting in placement of a VP shunt and becoming an epileptic. Despite the social stigma and the never-ending healing from injuries to the psyche, the Lord has used this devastating sometimes morbid condition and turned me into a warrior full of courage and faith in HIM during those times of despair! I am healing. It may be a life-long healing of the psyche, but with the Lord by my side, I can overcome through His strength! Trust in HIM! He will intercede on your behalf and knows your limits! I commend neurosurgeons and neurologists that have participated in my care in such a complex field "the psyche" despite ongoing efforts and scientific research. I know no one can even fathom to master the mind. I appreciate the efforts of neurologic medical teams and their efforts in alleviating these sometimes inexplicable experiences and long-term battles we suffer and sometimes conquer throughout our lives. My heart goes out to those with uncontrolled seizures. You are the true heroes! God bless you!
