In 1994, the Brain Injury Association of America (then National Head Injury Foundation) launched Brown Bag It, a nationwide fundraiser encouraging people to bring their lunch from home and donate what they would have spent on a restaurant lunch to the organization instead. The campaign went on for several years and proved to be a fun way for people to show their support for the brain injury community. In 2017, BIAA brought back Brown Bag It and now we’re partnering with Pilot International to continue to raise money through this initiative.
