Harness the power of your social media accounts to fundraise for a good cause.
Fundraising on social media is an easy and efficient way to raise money for the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA). Facebook is by far the most popular, with more than 100 individuals raising almost $100,000 for BIAA in the past year. Instagram is another popular option, allowing users to easily set up their fundraisers and share them with their followers. See how you can make an impact using your social media accounts.
How to start a fundraiser on Facebook
- Visit BIAA’s Facebook page.
- Click “Fundraisers”.
- Click “Raise Money”.
- Follow the instructions to set up your fundraiser.
How to start a fundraiser on Instagram
- Open the Instagram app.
- Click on the plus button to make a post.
- Choose to make a post, story, or reel with the image or video you want to post.
- Click “next” until you get to the screen where you are prompted to enter a caption.
- Click on “more options”.
- Click on “start a fundraiser”, select the Brain Injury Association of America, and fill out the required fields.
- Click “post”
Please note that BIAA does not receive information about donors contributing to your Facebook campaign, and your gift will be acknowledged automatically by Facebook.
