| Darkness and Hope by: Joseph Haranzo |
An empty pot burns on this darkened night, As smoldering secrets fade from the day of light. The tragedy of tales is left to weave, So many relationships do not continue to be. Thick blankets cover my dreams, As more demands thrust ahead prematurely. Speaking with shaded eyes, Disability causally walks around me, I know not the course for others, Though songs of displeasure create pictures to foresee. A social pyramid stands, Not wanting to give a democracy. Still you can change your dreams, Raising your spirit to a new level of possibilities. As darkness hides, A bold impression will fall upon the. Night can wilt away, Daylight will bloom incredible thoughts to see. We are all still people, Battling for our freedom of equality. I want you to hear, The universe screams impatiently. "Be a Master your Faith, A stern Captain of your Goals." Don't worry about Hope, It will find a form and pour all over your soul! |
